Definitions for this Site

Body - Describes the condition of the item's body

Brown spots - Refers to small brown spots on plastic. It is possible it may be what collectors call "cancer" or mold
Buy Button - Allows a customer to place an order for an item via email. Item will be placed on hold
Collection - Denotes the Series or set the item was released under or describes a shared trait the item has with other items in the same toy line. Ex Accessory, So-Soft, Adult Variant, Big Brother, etc.

Condition - We have rated each item on a scale of 1 to 10. Please understand that our opinion may differ from yours.

10 Mint in Package
9 Mint/Near Mint Condition - Loose
5 Average Condition - Loose
1 Extremely Poor Condition - Loose

Country - Denotes what country the item was originally released for sale
CTL - An abbreviation of Collector's Toy Land
Eyes - Describes the condition of the items eyes
Fake - Refers to items that look like they belong to a specific toy line but were not made by the same company and share no affiliation.
Fakie - Refers to toys that look like a specific toy line but were not made by the same company and share no affiliation.
Few - A few is less than some. usually under five of something
G1 - An abbreviation of Generation 1. The MLP toy line has 3 generations. G1 was sold from 1982 - 1992
G2 - An abbreviation of Generation 2. The MLP toy line has 3 generations. G2 was sold from 1997 - 2002
G3 - An abbreviation of Generation 3. The MLP toy line has 3 generations. G3 was sold from 2003 - Current
Hair - Describes the condition of the items hair
Home - This link will direct you back to the home page
ID - An abbreviation of Identification. The ID helps us track specific items especially if there are duplicates of the same item in varying conditions. All orders must include an ID number to insure you will receive the correct item.
International - Refers to items that were not originally release in the United States
Make Me an Offer - Items listed for sale without a fixed price. Ex. Price: Make Me an Offer
Mane Page - A pun for Main Page. This link will direct you to the MLP main page
Mark - A mark refers to a pen mark or other unwanted, usually non-removable addition to the toys original condition. A mark is different from a brown spot
Misc - An abbreviation of Miscellaneous
Misc Mane Page - This link will direct you to the Misc MLP items page
Miscellaneous - This link will direct you to the Misc MLP items page called the Misc Mane Page. Also refers to any item from the same toy line that is not the main toy. Ex. accessory, book, brochure, shirt, jewelry, miniature, etc.
MLP - An abbreviation of My Little Pony
MO - An abbreviation of Mail Order
Name - Denotes the name the item was originally given by the toy company or a commonly accepted name
Newly Listed - This link will only show you items added to our site within the last 30 days.
On Hold - If an item has been ordered it will be placed "On Hold" and will not be available for purchase by anyone else. Items are removed from the site when payment is received. If payment is not received in accordance with our terms and conditions the item will be re-listed.
Order - A request to purchase. Orders must include item's ID, Name, and Price, the customer's intent (I want to buy) and shipping zip code or country
Petite - A tiny MLP item that resembles the toy in many ways. This toy has several collections and playsets
Playset - A building or large area/setting designed specifically for a group of toys from the same toy line to interact
Price - Denotes the cost of the item for purchase or requests the customer to offer a cost for purchase
Priced Items - Items listed for sale at a fixed price. Ex. Price: $7.00.
Question Button - Allows a customer to ask a question about an item via email. Item will not be placed on hold
Re-list - Item is no longer on hold and is available for purchase
Scammer - a person who knowingly attempts to cheat another person or company for money or items
Small - Larger than tiny. A noticable, unwanted addition to the items original condition. May not be visible on display
Some - More than a few. Usually more than we care to count
Sort by - A method of searching or narrowing a search for a particular item
Sort by Collection - Items are listed alphabetically by collection. Ex. Baby Sea Pony, So-Soft, Twinkle Eye,...
Sort by Condition - Items are listed by condition from poorest to mint. Ex. 1, 2, 3,... 9, 10
Sort by Name - Items are listed alphabetically by Name. Ex. Applejack, Sweet Stuff, Zig Zag
Sort by Price - Items are listed by price from cheapest to most expensive. Ex. $0.50, $9.00, $100.00
Specials - Keep an eye out for various specials and promotions!
Symbol - Describes the condition of the items unique markings
Tiny - Smaller than small. An unwanted addition to the items original condition that is usually pin-size. Probably not visible on display
Total - The cost of all items you want plus shipping and handling cost, if applicable
Toy Line - Refers to toys made by the same company that share a specific name or title and have similar traits. Ex. Care Bears, Transformers, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Rainbow Brite, etc.
US - An abbreviation of United States
USPS - An abbreviation of United States Postal Service

Policy and Procedure

Accepting Orders on Priced Items

We accept fixed price orders on a first come, first serve basis
We will email you the outcome of your order as soon as possible
We cannot guarantee your item purchase until we receive your order and return your email
If a customer placed an order for the same item before you we will decline your order
Once a valid order is made we will place the item on hold
If payment is not received in accordance with our terms and conditions we will offer the item to the next orderer
If there are no other orders for the item it will be re-listed

Accepting Orders for Items Marked "Make Me an Offer"

Offers are accepted based on the highest bid for the item
Once an offer is made we will provide various details regarding the item
Offers are not accepted on a first come, first serve basis
We cannot guarantee your offer will be accepted until all offers have been reviewed by CTL
Most reasonable offers will be accepted in a timely manor (usually within 30 days or less)
Item will not be placed on hold until an offer is accepted by CTL
We cannot guarantee how long it will take CTL to accept or decline an offer
CTL
reserves the right to decline any offer

We are not responsible for any items once they leave our hands
If you have concerns please ask for delivery confirmation, tracking and/or insurance to be added to your fees

Shipping Quotes

Our shipping quotes are estimates and may be slightly different than actual shipping costs. This is due to diffences in scales and changes
in weight after a package is sealed for delivery. We do strive to charge as close to the actual amount as possible when you send an offer
with your shipping zip code. It is common for us to round to the nearest $0.50 to make the total even and often this goes in the customer's favor.
